Dr. Paul Benson presents, "Buddhists in America," the third part of the lecture series Modern Asian Religion in America as he explores the growth and development of Buddhist groups in America. An American Buddhist speaker will be present to explain the Buddhist point of view.

Asian Fashion Workshop: Add some Asian flare to your wardrobe by updating a pair of your old jeans or redesigning a purse from your closet.

Music in the Galleries by students from the Dallas Asian American Youth Orchestra.

Instructor Katy Lewis will lead students through a scripted production on the hour while teaching about props and tools used in Asian theater.

Each event will be held at The Crow Collection of Asian Art, located at 2010 Flora Street, Dallas. The Crow Collection of Asian Art is open Tuesdays – Sundays from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. with extended hours on Thursdays until 9 p.m. Admission is free. The Trammell & Margaret Crow Collection of Asian Art contains more than 600 paintings, objects of metal and stone, and large architectural pieces from China, Japan, India, and Southeast Asia. Over 300 works are on display in the galleries including precious jade ornaments from China, delicate Japanese scrolls and a rarely seen twenty-eight foot by twelve foot sandstone facade of an eighteenth century Indian residence.
